Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The files for submission are in Microsoft Word format (as long as they do not exceed 5MB).
  • The text is in 1.5 spacing, uses a 12-point Times New Roman font, with figures and tables inserted in the text, not at the end.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the Editorial Guidelines Section and Article Template.
  • Send the indication of at least 3 (three) potential reviewers (Name, Institution of affiliation and e-mail).

    Maximum Degree: Ph.D;

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in ENGLISH or PORTUGUESE.
  • The bibliographic references of the manuscript must be inserted with the help of the reference management software - MENDELEY.
  • All references must have DOI (Digital Object Identifier)

Author Guidelines

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

Engineering & Technology Scientific Journal is published under the Open Access model and allows anyone to read and download, as well as copy and disseminate its content in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 copyright policies.

POLICY AGAINST PLAGGIA AND MISCONDUCTS IN RESEARCH

In accordance with the guidelines of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), which aim to encourage the identification of plagiarism, bad practices, fraud, possible violations of ethics and prosecution, we indicate:

  1. Authors should visit the COPE website http://publicationethics.org, which contains information for authors and editors on research ethics;
  2. Before submission, authors must follow the following criteria:

- articles that contain data acquisition or analysis and interpretation of data from other publications must refer to them explicitly;

- in the writing of articles that contain a critical review of the intellectual content of other authors, these should be duly cited;

- all authors must meet the criteria of unprecedented authorship of the article and none of the researchers involved in the research can be omitted from the list of authors;

- the final approval of the article will be made by the editors and the editorial board.

3. To meet the criteria, the following procedures will be performed:

a) The editors will evaluate the manuscripts with the CrossCheck (or Plagius) system right after the submission. Firstly, the textual content of scientific articles will be evaluated, seeking to identify plagiarism, duplicate submissions, manuscripts already published and possible fraud in research;

b) With the results, it is up to the editors and the editorial board to decide whether the manuscript will be sent to peer review who will also carry out evaluations;

c) After acceptance and before publication, articles may be evaluated again.

Paper Review

 

They must follow the Policies and Guidelines Editorial of the Journal.

Review papers may be published, at the invitation of the Editorial Board.

 
 

 

 

Short Communications

Short Communications are short papers that present original and significant material for rapid dissemination. For example, a Short Communication may focus on a particular aspect of a problem or a new finding that is expected to have a significant impact.
