THE RISE IN THE USE OF RESIDENTIAL PHOTOVOLTAIC SOURCES IN THE STATE OF SÃO PAULO

In Brazil, solar energy is experiencing exponential growth, consolidating itself as a sustainable and cost-effective option for energy generation, photovoltaic plants offer significant benefits as they use a renewable energy source. The objectives of this article are to analyze the annual planning of the residential and remote residential photovoltaic source in the state of São Paulo between the years 2018 - 2027 and observe the growth over the years. For this, the types of consumption existing in residences (residential and residential-remote) and the number of adopters per year of each type were analyzed. Comparisons were made and it was possible to notice that there was a large increase in the consumption of energy from photovoltaic sources from the year 2020, and projections show that this consumption tends to increase over the years. With this, it was possible to conclude that this increase occurred not only because it is an excellent source of renewable and clean energy, but also brings several benefits to its adopters.
